Sweet little amplifier and linear power supply. 600 watts SSB or 400 watts FT8. Instant on, no tune, well protected against faults. 120V or 240V.

A couple of days ago, I turned it on and it popped a power supply line fuse. Moved it to take a look, and something rattled. Took the lid off, turned it over and a 6-32 screw fell out...never a good sign. Replaced the fuse and turned it on. Power supply fuse blew and smoke came out the side of the amp, so probably a burned wire or resistor.

My dear wife, still on meds post surgery, said, "Just get a new one." Not one to pass up an opportunity to upgrade, I did just that. No point in personally fixing this one.
