We’ve owned this Yamaha SX230 for the past 9 years, and it has been a fantastic family boat. It has been well maintained, runs great, and is ready for the water.

One of our favorite features is that the original filler cushions are included, allowing the bow and cockpit seating to convert into a large sleeping area. It’s a great overnight boat, and we’ve loved using it for multi-day trips to Lake Powell and Flaming Gorge.

The interior is original. The seats do have some seam damage, which is common for a boat of this age, but everything is functional and the boat has been mechanically cared for extremely well.

This model did not come with an hour meter, so engine hours are unknown.

The Yamaha SX230 is known for its reliability, shallow draft, spacious seating, and no exposed propellers—making it a great family boat for cruising, tubing, skiing, swimming, or overnight adventures.

We’re only selling because it’s time for someone else to enjoy it as much as we have.
