VenmoI’ve had this machine for a little over a year now. I had big plans for it, but I haven’t been able to justify spending any more time or money on it. It is a blast to drive. No other side by side gives the feeling this machine does. This is a 3 pedal manual clutch machine. I’ve done lots of upgrades to it. Here’s a list of the important aftermarket items. Please look at the last paragraph for important information.
-Built engine with CP carillo forged piston rods and pistons with the stock style 11.5:1 compression ratio. -Billet water pump impeller -ARP head studs and main bolts for improved reliability and peace of mind. -MPI performance style turbo retrofitted to run with a Dirt launch performance top mount intercooler plenum. -Turbo smart boost controller -2022 YXZ Transmission swapped in to upgrade to the 2019 gear ratio. 1st and 2nd gear are lower to help slow speed driving and climbing. -Alba racing clutch kit and spring plate rated for 500hp. Slightly heavier clutch feel but is still easy to push in. -Double welded drive shaft to fix the weak spot in the stock shaft -Alba racing drive shaft heavy duty spline -Weller racing Dynojet power vision 3 tuner with a standard MPI turbo 8 psi tune. -Weller racing 3 bar map sensors needed for boosted YXZs with power vision tuners. -Dino jet Wideband CX to help future more refined tuning on the car. -Weller racing rear frame brace -Glow shift gauges; boost, wide band, coolant temperature -30”x10” maxxis carnivore tires. -Shock therapy dual rate spring kit -Pro Switch pad for multiple uses. -MB Light Whip mounts. -Chase bar -Light bar -Kemimoto side mirrors (switches were stolen off so I could use them on my can-am) -Super ATV half wind shield. -Str8 up aftermarket roll cage -Aces racing suspension seats.
The reason I’m asking lower than usual is that the engine is currently not running. After getting the turbo all set up and finished, we took it out for a test ride. I accidentally didn’t tighten down one of the valve cover bolts all the way and the engine lost all of its oil. Completely my fault. It ran after tightening the bolt and adding oil, but it was not running well. It will not crank because of a crankshaft position sensor code. Probably from metal shaveings being on the sensor. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE IS. At this point I have no more I can give to this machine and need to spend my time on more important things. My loss is your gain. A rebuilt motor and you have yourself a built Turboed YXZ with all the must have mods and some extras. Text is preferred. Machine is located in Hooper Utah.
