PayPal2001 Dodge Cummins NV5600 (6-speed manual) truck with 427k on the clock. Engine completely rebuilt in 2019 (50-60k miles ago) with new everything including: Edge Juice w/ Attitude tuner and CTS monitor, Air Dog lift pump (may be bad), head studs, BD 3-piece exhaust manifold, Banks Ram Air Intake, S300 68mm turbo w/ HX40 downpipe, 5" straight pipe, 50hp injectors, steering and suspension work done at the same time (needs steering work again), Red head steering gear, ceramic clutch, etc. Lots of records.
Truck has scoring in #1 cylinder and has piston skirt slap making a tapping noise. Quiets down a lot once warmed up but still there. AC works, dash is in good shape, doors and rockers have some rust under the bedliner. Heavy duty bumpers. Transmission shifts good. Truck is still running and driving. I will be putting new fuel filters on to see if the lift pump pressure comes up (it's 10-11 at idle and will drop to 0 under high load. I'm sure that's what caused the hurt cylinder).
Bought this to help someone get into a diesel but they decided they didn't want to pay to fix it after all. Could pop the head and pan and give a hone and replace the piston. Either way there is a lot of money in parts here. Comes with an extra set of injectors from an HO and a Mahle head gasket set.
Asking $7500. Go price an NV5600 swap and NP241 DHD transfer case if you don't like the price. I'll part it out if I don't get my asking price in a few weeks. Located in Blackfoot, ID.
