The Holley 1850-2 is a 600 CFM, 4-barrel carburetor featuring vacuum secondaries and a square-bore flange pattern. Designed as a versatile, universal performance upgrade for street vehicles, it uses a single-feed fuel inlet and originally came with a manual choke.

The 1850 series is widely used across various classic vehicles, particularly popular on Ford and GM muscle cars. Because it is a 4160-series carburetor, it lacks a secondary metering block by default and uses a metering plate instead. However, many enthusiasts use the Holley 34-2 Upgrade Kit to convert it to a dual-feed system with a secondary metering block for better tuneability. When performing a rebuild, it utilizes the standard Holley KT-5415B37-119 Rebuild Kit.
Common Considerations
If you are restoring or setting up an 1850-2, keep these common tuning parameters in mind:
Secondary Springs: Because the secondaries are vacuum-operated, the opening rate can be tuned by changing the vacuum spring inside the secondary diaphragm housing.
Carburetor ran when it was pulled off the car. However it has been sitting on the shelf for so long I would expect it will need a rebuild kit.Happy to consider any and all Offers and/or answer any and all Questions.
