The side shelves are weathered but still operable and there is a small fracture in the iron charcoal plate in the bottom, which still serves its purpose but is replaceable if desired. Also, the small flange broke off on the rEGGulator, but still functions as intended. Other than that, the unit is free of defects. The grill comes with a pizza stone ($50 value) and the ash tool.
