Used and repaired Raider truck shell shell fits my 2012 Tundra with a 6.5ft bed in decent condition with a lot of repair work done. I don’t think this shell was made specific for the 2nd gen Tundra but photos show how it fits on mine and it has been great and trustworthy for the past few years.
New struts, latches and locks replaced last year and all windoors work. The original owner had cut the front window out, and I replaced it with a new window framed in with plywood. That is water and dust tight and window opens/closes. The rear window has some gaps from the frame, and could use some rubber gasket work to seal up from water/dust, but it hasn’t been too much of an issue. Side windoors are well sealed and water tight. I wish I had trimmed a bit of the front off where this meets the cabs (finger pointing to spot) as I didn’t have it on tight enough at first and you can see the dent in my truck.
I was told that this was maybe made for a Dodge, but I can’t say for sure. Make sure to check measurements well as I know it took me a long time to find the right fit, and with the curves of the shell you’ll want it to be very close. Here are the dimensions for the inner and outer shell to verify bed fit:
Outer front width 70.25” Outer Length 80.5” Outer rear width 69.5”
Front height 23”
Inner front width 62” Inner length 76” Inner rear width 62.75”
I can help get it on to bed but it’s best with 3 people as it is very heavy so please bring help if you can. Comes with 4 attachments that work with my tundra but I have found mine has different rails than some others. Come prepared with other attachment method just in case.
