12-13 year old Gelding Trail horse

My husband and I bought him for hunting purposes. We don't know much about his past other than he has been a trail horse for most of his life.

He just recently had a 30 day tune up with Fowers Equine Services

He does best with a Mechanical Hackamore but can be used with a bit.

Picks up his feet well for the farrier, loves little kids but definitely not a kids horse. Needs a firm hand so he doesn't get any bad habits. No spook to him and he loads and ties well. Can be hobbled. Great with a fly mask and a winter blanket.

The one issue we have had is his right ear. He has some warts inside it that affect putting anything over it so he would need a bridle set up that you can detach and attach behind every time.

He is a sweet boy and eager to please. Quick learner. We are sad to see him go but unfortunately life has decided we need to get rid of most of our animals and move elsewhere and we can't take him with.

He is pastured with another gelding and has been with another mare before. Doesn't cause issues with the herd. Always bottom of the totem pole with the other horses he's been around.

Was just trimmed. Isn't currently shoed. We would consider selling his Hackamore and saddle with him if wanted.
