We have an 18 year old red roan gelding . Been used ranching and roped on a little in the arena. He is a nice horse tracks cattle well but not super fast anymore. He has a really good stop . He travels out well . He got cut in some barbed wire last fall so he has a scar under his right leg but doesn’t seem to bother him at all he has had a lot of miles on him this spring putting cattle out on pasture and doctoring a little . Think he would be a good horse for a young kid who is ready to move up to something that has a little more go than the kids horse but not ready for a big motored horse just yet .
