VenmoFor sale is a Framed Cable 24 youth mountain bike. It has 24-inch wheels and 2.6" tires (fat and forgiving). A spec list is included in the photos. Upgrades are noted below. This bike is perfect for younger siblings (8-11 years) of NICA riders or any kid who wants to get started on a real MTB.
I bought this bike brand new in 2021 for $500. My son was 8 at the time, and he rode it for more than 4 years. He's outgrown it now, and that is the reason for selling. It was the perfect beginning MTB for him to learn on. The bike is better now than when I bought it. Upgrades include hydraulic disc brakes (Shimano fluid-compatible), a brand new bottom bracket, real MTB pedals (RaceFace Chester copies), and new lock-on grips. Brakes were upgraded in 2023, and I replaced the BB earlier this month in preparation to sell (the old one was creaking a bit).
Paint and finishes still look great. Normal wear and tear, but we take care of things at our house. This bike has been kept in a garage other than when it's been ridden or transported. I've performed regular maintenance and added the upgrades noted above.
