I won’t lie and tell you he is a completely finished horse. He’s not. What he is, is completely sound as far as health, feet, and mouth. He’d be an excellent trail, pack horse, or ranch prospect. Follows and leads. Definitely more whoa than go. Will go with encouragement. Is not buddy sour. He bucked my husband off this spring when he spooked in an arena. Previous owner started roping off of him with the dummy and cows. He’s watchy on the ground at times but once on him he settles in. He needs someone to work with his ears. We treated them for warts last year but he is still shy about them. Picks up all 4’s. He needs an experienced rider someone with plenty of confidence. This gelding needs a job and someone that can utilize him consistently someone with more time and more cowboy in them. Stands, ties, and loads good. He is hard to bridle since his ears are sensitive so we typically have to leave a halter on with it. Has been ridden in the mountains and arena.
