VenmoWe have some California White Hens for sale. They are just 4 months old and have not yet begun to lay, but should start laying soon. This breed lays around 300 LARGE WHITE eggs a year. They are similar to the White Leghorn, but have a bit calmer temperament. They are still a bit flighty as a breed, but we have made an effort to interact with them as much as possible to help them be less flighty and nervous around humans. They will take treats from our hand, but quickly run off to eat it in private. This breed tends to be great at foraging. They are a bit of a loner bird, but they are still friendly (just not the snuggliest breed).
We have 4 available.
They are $35 each.
