Mongo is an 8 year old 1/2 draft gelding I’m helping a friend sell.

He’s been used to pack miles and miles, been rode out on the range gathering cows, and lopes a real pretty circle. He bridles up and handles nice, and can be a real treat to ride.

He’s not a beginner horse. He can be fresh with time off, and needs consistency. When he does buck, it’s pretty half-hearted. But he will try from time to time.

He was gelded later in life, and while he doesn’t act studdy toward mares, he can be aggressive when penned with geldings. It’s only been an issue in close quarters, when I’ve had him turned out in a bigger pen it hasn’t been an issue.

Use him as a pack horse, or a big circle rock pounder on big days. He needs a job and a good hand to bring him along.
