VenmoDelicate antique Edwardian embroidered cotton lawn camisole or "lingerie waist," dating to approximately 1905–1915
This beautiful piece features sheer cotton lawn construction with intricate floral embroidery throughout, openwork embroidered medallions at the bodice, lace trim accents, and an original front snap closure. The embroidery extends across both the front and back panels, creating an exceptionally romantic and feminine silhouette characteristic of the Edwardian era.
The lower edge is unfinished/raw, which may indicate the garment was originally intended to be tucked into a skirt or undergarment, though collectors should make their own assessment.

Best suited for antique textile collectors, display, study, historical costume reference, pattern inspiration, or very gentle wear. Please review all photographs carefully.
Women often wore these delicate embroidered "waists" beneath sheer blouses or paired them with petticoats and wrappers. Raised satin stitch floral embroidery Openwork embroidered medallions Tiny embroidered dots Sheer cotton lawn or batiste Lace edging Vertical insertion panels
