NEEDS REPAIR. Symptom is that it will buzz but not initiate the tumbler. If you open the door, hold in the safety button, start it, then give the tumbler a push, then it can start the tumbler.
I've used this for about 20 years, replacing the wheels, bearings, and tumbler friction pads as needed, but I was gifted a new dryer, so haven't gone to the trouble of fixing it this time. It's very heavy duty and long lasting.
METAL PARTS, unlike the new one I got, which I doubt will last anywhere near as long.
