This is a well cared for double French horn. It features a thumb valve, making it a double horn, and mechanical links, meaning you will never have to worry about broken strings.

The internals could use a bath and a bit of a scrub, but there is no signs of corrosion, just a little bit of oxidation from sitting for a while. The exterior is in great shape considering the minimum of 4 years of use through high school. There are a few tiny dings in the bell, and a bit of wear and scratching where it would be expected. The case has seen better days, but is still in decent condition and still functions in protecting the horn.

Listing includes the horn, 1 mouth piece, case, a mute, valve oil, slide grease, and a small screwdriver for tightening the mechanical links if needed.

This horn is branded “Grand” which as far as I can tell through some research would be some kind of branding put on by a generic manufacturer. It has no effect on playability though, and is still a good horn.

This would be a great horn for someone early in their learning who is committed to playing for several years, late beginner to intermediate players.
