Meet Bear – Our Tiny Toy Poodle Stud

Bear is the definition of perfection in a tiny package. Weighing just 5 pounds, this handsome little guy is proven, health tested through Embark, and brings unique East Coast bloodlines to Utah, making him a great option for breeders looking to add something different to their program.

He carries one copy of CDDY (no CDPA) and is otherwise genetically clear. He has also passed his OFA testing.

Bear consistently sires large litters (up to 12 puppies!) with beautiful deep red coloring, cute white markings, and even adorable little white "boot" paws like his own.

His personality is just as special. Bear has the sweetest, most affectionate, mellow temperament. He's honestly the calmest Poodle we've ever met and has such a gentle, old-soul personality. He also has excellent structure, a correct bite, and is one of our reproductive veterinarian's favorite studs because of his exceptionally high sperm count, especially for his size.

We've been so happy with the puppies Bear produces, and many local breeders have come back to use him again after seeing their litters.

Breeding Information

We perform AI at our home or can meet at South Mountain Pet Care or Utah Reproduction for TCI.

Our stud fee includes 2 AIs, with an optional 3rd AI for $200.

Pregnancy Guarantee: One free rebreed on your female's next heat cycle with the same stud if she was progesterone tested by a licensed reproductive veterinarian and bred within the ideal fertile window. Although pregnancy is often successful with at-home progesterone testing, our guarantee applies only when progesterone testing is performed by a licensed reproductive veterinarian.

Shipping Available: We regularly ship chilled semen throughout the U.S. with great success. The dam's owner is responsible for the stud fee and shipping costs (typically $300–350). Please note that pregnancy cannot be guaranteed on shipped semen due to shipping and other factors outside our control. Every collection is approved by our reproductive veterinarian before shipment.

Please Note: Bear is currently available only for breeding outside of the Poodle breed (no Poodle-to-Poodle breedings).

Bear makes adorable doodles of all kinds and books up quickly, so please text us at the first sign of your female coming into heat to reserve him. We do not overschedule our studs.
