If you know these older models, you know they are built with a significantly thicker, more rugged gauge aluminum than the lighter residential versions found in big-box stores today. This is the industrial-grade Type 1A model that retailed for around $450 new because it is built like a tank.
Heavy-Duty Specs: Functions as a 7 ft A-frame step ladder and uncoils straight into a 15 ft extension ladder (17 ft max reach height).
Perfect for contractors, painters, or homeowners who want an old-school, industrial-strength build that will last forever.
The ladder is 100% functional and safe as is.
It is however currently missing one of the oem locking hinge lock end pieces. I installed replacement pins but the stock piece is $35 on ebay. See photos for more information.
