VenmoThis Steyr Clubman is a steel frame Austrian-made road bike from the 70s. It is set up with a single speed cog (not fixed gear, i.e. it coasts), rear coaster brake and front rim brake. Frame size is small, probably about 49cm in modern terms, it would probably fit someone 5’ to 5’6”.
Brand new parts include: front tire, saddle, chain, bar tape, brake pads, brake cable and housing. The rear tire and rim are like new. I just rebuilt the coaster brake and tuned the whole bike. The 26 inch tires are 1.5” wide, a little fatter than a road tire, more like a narrow cruiser. The bike rides nice and is ready to roll, but note: the geometry puts you in an aggressive riding position (fairly long reach to the handlebars).
There is little to no rust on the frame. It must have been kept out of the elements during it’s life. Everything works, no frozen bolts. You can easily adjust the seatpost, handlebars, saddle position, etc. There is a tiny bit of surface rust on the pedals and the front rim spindle, but that’s minor and overall the bike is in nice shape cosmetically. You will get compliments!
