This Nintendo Switch began to have a problem where it no longer recognized the joycon on one side, so we put it in this slide-controller and it worked just fine because it connects via USB-C.

There are two problems with this Switch. The first is that the battery life is not very good. My kids had to play it plugged in all the time. And the second problem now is that I was getting ready to sell this unit and I did a factory reset, but now the last step of the start up is to slide in two Joycons, but it still only recognizes one side.

Hopefully there is someone out there who knows how to fix the right side joycon reader so this can be used again.
