This sweet little Navajo Churro ewe has been handled regularly and is already showing a calm, curious personality. She will happily come over to investigate what I'm doing, and ask politely for a little treat.
Both parents have exceptional temperaments. Her sire was surprisingly friendly for a ram, and her dam is equally gentle and easy to work with. Those calm dispositions appear to be passing on to this ewe.
She has the classic Navajo-Churro look with beautiful black fleece accented by white markings on her face, forehead, and chest. She would make a wonderful addition to a breeding flock, fiber flock, or small homestead looking for a friendly, hardy heritage sheep.
