ZelleThis is a delightful item: a complete recording of the Book of Mormon on a series of 50 seven-inch vinyl records. The records are translucent gold, manufactured by Capitol Records Custom for the Salt Lake City-based Columbia Research Group. The records play at 16 2/3 RPM. All appear to be in very good condition, the box itself has some wear as shown in photos. Sold as is.
There is another version of this that was published on black vinyl, but the gold one seems to be much harder to find.
A seemingly rare item harkens back to the somewhat forgotten era of spoken-word 16 RPM records. Could make a great display piece for fans of the Book of Mormon, LDS folks, etc.
