PayPalWe have English Setter puppies coming from a one-time breeding of our two best working dogs. We don't breed all of our dogs. This pairing was chosen because the sire and dam are the best hunting and family dogs we have.
Both parents are steady to flush and retrieve reliably. We don't run hunting trials, but we hunt both parents at least once a week from October through February on wild birds. The male is exceptional on ducks and will retrieve them out of tough, muddy conditions without hesitation.
Both parents carry deep field pedigrees with hundreds of titles between them. The sire's bloodline includes Ch'Pr'Johnny Crockett and Ch'Pr'Ponderosa Mac, and traces back to Ch'Pr'Shadow Oak Bo, one of the most accomplished producing sires in the breed. The dam's bloodline includes Ch'Pr'Ridge Creek Cody, Ch'Pr'Attitude's True Grit, and Ch'Pr'Grand Heritage Motion. Full three-generation pedigrees available on request.
The puppies are being raised on a small farm alongside 8 children, so they're well socialized with kids and used to an active family. They're up to date on all health checks, and both parents are healthy with no joint problems.
They'll make good hunting dogs and good family dogs. English Setters are affectionate with the family, good with kids, and less needy than a Golden Retriever.
We'll be delivering puppies to Utah Valley on the evening of August 22nd. $200 deposit required for delivery.
