Gorgeous, sophisticated, Alice Lane designer bookshelf. A blend of European traditional detailing with a soft contemporary finish. I bought this stunning bookshelf from the Alice Lane showroom. It was used for multiple displays so there is normal wear/marks on the tops of the bases of the shelves from decor and vases being slid in and out etc. it is amazing quality and a perfect project for someone who wants to touch it up or for someone who wants to leave it as is. The marks/scratches never bothered me because I had planned to decorate over them so I left it as is.

Measurements : 7ft tall, 36” wide, 14” deep.

Overall Design

• A tall, five-shelf open bookcase with a substantial, architectural frame.\
• Finished in a stunning silver with subtle texture, giving it the appearance of hand-finished plaster or cerused wood rather than painted wood.

Frame & Shape

• The outer frame is thick and substantial with straight, clean lines.\
• What makes this piece unique are the sculptural side supports between each shelf.\
• Instead of standard vertical posts, the supports feature gracefully curved, wave-like cutouts with gentle ogee-inspired profiles. These repeating curves soften the otherwise rectangular silhouette and give the bookcase a custom furniture feel.\
• The shelves have softly rounded front corners that echo the curved side details.
