This rare tiger oak chest of drawers is packed with character history and one very cool surprise. It features seven drawers with the top three designed as pancake style flat drawers and the lower four offering plenty of deep storage. Hidden on the top middle is a secret drawer that is released by opening the an upper right drawer and pressing a concealed button which activates a spring that gently pushes the hidden drawer forward. The top four drawers have been neatly wallpaper lined and the original wood knobs and antique finish have been beautifully preserved. Tucked inside are newspapers from 1981 that were discovered in the dresser and have been left as a fun piece of its history. The body remains in wonderful original antique condition with only minor wear making this a truly unique piece that is not often found!
