This set was a limited edition of 350 pieces produced for the 1998 Disney Doll & Teddy Bear Convention.
Madame Alexander and Robert Raikes Collectibles created this adorable fairy tale pair. Our 8" Goldilocks wears a delightful dirndl dress made of the finest lavender print Liberty English cottons. Her two-tiered skirt is trimmed with rows of purple-feathered edging and a lovely custom embroidery embellishes her navy velveteen vest and matching boots. Her long golden blonde hair is in two braids. She has dark blue sleep eyes that open and close perfectly, painted brows and side lashes, blush cheeks and pink lips. Baby Bear stands 5.5" tall. His soft golden brown fur body is fully jointed and his hand-carved wooden face and foot pads are full of expression and detail. He wears a tiny baby vest.
This particular set is number 312 of 350 produced. Both the doll and bear come with certificates of authenticity. The Madame Alexander Certificate of Authenticity bears the signature of the Madame Alexander representative and Robert Raikes himself.
Goldilocks has on her wrist a gold medalion proclaiming her an official Madame Alexander doll .The bear is in a blue velvet pouch for safe keeping of his wooden parts. Included is the Certicate of Authencity and the box.
