It is still locked to T-Mobile. I never Understood the fuss behind the thinking “ Oh Mines Unlocked, therefore it’s superior “ genius, you have to go to some carrier to get service don’t you. If you don’t have T-Mobile then clearly this isn’t for you. If you do have T-Mobile then not only is it for you, but you can expect to get great service, Netflix For Free. And just what if, I mean what if you just so happen to be a Navy Seal, A Delta Force, Or An Army Ranger, what then huh? I can’t speak for your carrier, but my carrier has a SAT Phone built into the iPhone Air, I don’t know if it’s cause it’s strictly T-Mobile or if it’s because of the high-tech of the phone. I believe it’s a combination of the two. Regardless, it has it, and it’s better to have it and not need it than it is to need it and not have it. Btw, another fun fact the iPhone Air is the strongest iPhone Apple has made, at least up to this date anyway. It’s made out of Titanium.
