She was born on our place and has been handled since day 1. As a yearling, she had extensive work done, including picking up and handling her feet, loading and backing out of a trailer, desensitization with plastic, being sacked out with a saddle, and lunging both directions with ease. We ponied her all over the mountains (with and without a saddle) and crossed water, ditches, and deadfall.

From the beginning, Spice has been extremely smart and aims to please. She pivots both directions on the ground, and in the saddle, and is very respectful of space.

Upon getting on and riding Spice, she has transferred all her smarts and willing attitude into the saddle. She's got a nice walk, trot, canter, and loooves to sit down and stop. She aims to please and is soft and collected. As this training continues, she would make an incredible 4H project for an experienced young rider.

In the mountains, Spice is a great mover. She loves to walk out and is a great leader. She isn't afraid of crossing deadfall and stops to break branches with ease. We ride with multiple dogs, and she's very used to them going in and out and behind her legs.

For a 4 year old, she's got a ton of training and there is lots more to say than can be said in just this ad, but with her color alone, this girl is definitely one you won't want to miss out on.

She has a stacked pedigree and is full of possibilities. Going back to Doc Bar, Jerry Lee Surprise, Ris Key Business, and Skipper W, she could be trained for whatever discipline you decide to take her (accomplishments of each attached at the end of ad)

She not only has the pedigree, but the color to match (coat color test attached). A Dunskin with her color genetics can produce Palomino, Sorrel, Bay, Buckskin, Bay Dun, Yellow Dun, Dunalino, or Dunskin (dun+buckskin) foals (depending on the color of stallion). Even if you strictly wanted a broodmare that you could start handling from the beginning, she's the one for you.
