Construction:
Legs/feet: Cabriole legs, slender profile, pad feet (not turned)
Hardware: Brass bail pull with keyhole escutcheon, appears stamped rather than hand-forged
Finish: Top surface has a glossy, even reddish-brown finish, possibly refinished at some point; unclear if original
Condition: Structurally sound, some nicks and surface wear, drawer bottom splitting as noted, no maker's marks or labels found anywhere on the piece
Provenance: In the family over 100 years; no documentation of purchase or maker
