I purchased these two mares as companions for my older mare, but unfortunately they haven’t settled in well with her. Rather than keep everyone stressed, I’ve decided it’s in their best interest to find a home for them.

They are approximately 6 and 7 years old and are both very gentle mares. They are halter broke, load well in a trailer, and have had saddles on them, although they have not been ridden.

We believe the white mare is an Appaloosa. Both mares have been easy to handle during the time I’ve owned them. The previous owner told me they stood well for the farrier, but I haven’t personally had their feet trimmed.

If they had gotten along with my older mare, they would have been staying here. I’m looking for a kind, knowledgeable home where they can continue to do well. I’d love for them to stay together if possible, but I’m willing to consider the right situation.
