Super-low-mileage (only 950 miles) Suzuki dual-sport thumper with a ton of aftermarket bits, including a Seat Concepts “Comfort Seat” ($340), Pro-Cycle Mikuni TM40 carb-kit ($600), upgraded and firmer-than-stock suspension front and rear (cartridge fork internals and custom shock from Cogent Dynamics, $1100), large-capacity Acerbis fuel tank ($350), engine bash plate ($100), LeoVince exhaust ($600), wide footpeg kit, luggage rack ($250), and much more.
Runs great, starts right up. I bought it a couple of years ago due to the super-low mileage, but I just don’t ride it much, as I prefer my Suzuki RMX250 for motocross and single-track off-road stuff, and my BMW R1250GS for asphalt riding. I’m only looking to get what I paid for it, thus the low price. DR650s retail for $7200 (not including tax), and since they haven’t changed the DR in two decades, this is basically a new bike without the higher price…and $3000-plus worth of improvements.
The bike is located in SLC (Cottonwood Heights, to be specific), and since I have a pick-up truck, I’m happy to deliver it to as far North as Logan and as far South as Nephi. Cash or Venmo/Pay-Pal, please, and I’m not interested in trading for your “almost new Jacuzzi or “it sorta runs…” Chevy El Camino. Low-ballers, just keep moving.
