VenmoAntique Danish-language LDS hymnal titled Salmer til Brug for Jesu Kristi Kirke af Sidste-Dages Hellige, which translates to “Hymns for Use in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”
Published in Salt Lake City in 1888, this is identified on the title page as the “Første amerikanske Udgave,” or First American Edition. It was published by A. W. Winberg and printed by Bikubens Trykkeri, or the Beehive Printing Office. The Church History Catalog also records this Salt Lake City edition as dating to 1888.
The small pocket-size book has its original black binding with decorative gold lettering and ornamentation. It also contains an early handwritten ownership inscription dated July 15, 1899, adding additional historical interest.
