What to know before you buy:

• This bike was maintained by LVMPD its entire service life, with diligent, superb upkeep — engine oil, primary oil, and transmission fluid changed every 2,500 miles, serviced by Harley-certified mechanics. That kind of disciplined care more than offsets the mileage.
• Priced thousands less than other ~2018 Electra Glides, which comes down to cosmetics — this bike has some dings and scrapes typical of police service, cosmetic only, and doesn't affect how it rides.
• When LVMPD sells these bikes, they remove the police equipment, but the ECU still expects to see those modules on the CAN bus — that mismatch is what throws the check engine light. It's not an indication of any actual issue, just the ECU noticing modules it originally expected are no longer there.
