Beautiful antique Victorian Eastlake-style folding campaign rocking chair, believed to date from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

This unusual chair features an intricately carved and pierced wooden crest, graceful curved rockers, turned stretchers, floral upholstery with decorative nailhead trim, and padded adjustable armrests. Both armrest adjustment mechanisms are functional.

The chair’s folding design makes it easier to transport and store. It would make a wonderful statement piece for a parlor, library, bedroom, reading corner, photography studio, theatrical production, or period-inspired interior.

Antique pre-owned condition with expected scratches, finish wear, patina, fabric wear, and surface oxidation on some of the metal hardware. A previous break in the upper decorative wooden crest was glued and repaired. The repair remains visible and is shown clearly in the close-up photos. The floral upholstery appears to be a later replacement.
