The perfectly proportioned horn-shaped body leads to a stylish wide flared, lily shaped rim culminating in a slender twisted tail. The beautiful twisted form sits elegantly upright, balancing on two clear glass leaf shaped feet while stylish ribbing radiates around the body perfectly following the sleek contour of the form and magnificently accentuating the stunning sparkle of the glass. This exquisite piece is an outstanding example of Sommerso Murano glass which is a renowned 20th-century Venetian glassmaking technique developed in the 1930s, characterized by layering multiple colors of glass without mixing them. This effect is achieved by dipping molten glass into different colored, transparent molten glass before blowing it into its final shape, often resulting in a brightly colored core encased in a clear outer layer.
