ApplePayAs a normal bike, this works just fine, but as an ebike, it’s struggling.
The motor in the rear wheel is shot. It makes a strange grumbly grindy noise when it activates, and it only minimally assists you.
The battery still holds a good charge and you have to go for a pretty long ride to drain it. The charger works just fine, no issues there.
Full disclosure, I was hit by a car while riding this bike, however that was about two years ago. I’ve put around another 75 miles on it since then. I will note that during the crash the front fork was bent out of shape (see picture), but again I’ve been riding around on it regardless and haven’t had an issue with that.
The motor started having issues after going up a really steep hill, and has been acting strangely ever since.
