VenmoI am the second owner this Element. Traded in by the original Utah local owner to a dealership, I bought it in 2016 specifically to have it converted into an E-Camper by Ursa Minor custom conversions. I had all the modifications performed that are offered by Ursa. I recommend going to their sight for details on what they do. (https://ursaminorcampers.com/) As far as the vehicle condition, I am confident you will not find an Element that has been better cared for. Regularly cleaned and kept in a heated garage when not in use. Has zero rust. I am a certified master tech who has babied this car with regular maintenance much more frequent than Honda recommendations. Oil changed every 3K miles or less. Tires rotated every other oil change. Transmission and rear diff oil changed every 3 oil changes. Air & cabin filters changed before needed regularly. Plugs replace with iridium plugs every 60k mi. Has zero oil/fluid leaks and runs perfect.
In the last year, it's had...
Font & rear brakes replaced.
The A/C compressor and drive belt replaced.
A full front to back exhaust system replaced, including a CA/NY certified catalytic converter.
Front & rear sway bar links replaced
In the past two years...
New battery
New radiator
New starter
Two sets of new tires (See photos) plus alignment
Could list so many more things over its lifetime with me. Whatever this car needed, I did it ahead of time. Registration was due this past July, so it just passed an emissions test. I decided not to register it, as I bought a newer vehicle but the on line emissions certificate is still valid.
If you know anything about these Elements, you know they had (along with CRVs) one of the most reliable engines Honda ever produced. The 2.4L gets good milage, has a timing chain (no belt to replace) and will run forever. It's common to see these engines with well over 300K mi still running strong. I am confident this will be one of those the way I have cared for it.
The price is a little negotiable but before you laugh it off as ridiculously priced, I invite you to have a look at comps on the Fifth Element Camping page found here (https://fifthelementcamping.com/) and click on classifieds. I think I'm reasonably priced compared to many found there.
This vehicle is super clean and ready to roll on your next adventure! Call to set up a time to check it out, as there's a lot to show in how everything works. I welcome and actually encourage anyone interested in this vehicle to have a pre purchase inspection performed by a qualified technician.
