Large hand-carved wooden rocking horse featuring a leather saddle, stirrups, and real hair mane and tail. Item is in good used condition with light surface wear consistent with age. This Marwari horse was skillfully carved by artisans probably from the Rajasthan region of India. It features beautiful tarkashi metalsmithing using brass and wire inlay. Measures 44 inch high x 14 wide and 50 long.. the right side stirrup is missing but the wood grain and craftsmanship is impressive.
