14yr old Buckskin Gelding

“Rooster” is a 14yr old buckskin gelding standing about 15.1hh. He will walk trot lope both ways, backs up, picks up his leads and side passes. He’s more of a forward moving horse with a big stride but not dangerous by any means. Hes been on the mountain, crosses dead fall without issue, goes through deep rivers, rides great in the arena, been in parades and one you can ride through the pasture. No buck, bolt, rear, easy to catch, doesn’t bite and is actually SUPER sweet.

Rooster can be impatient being in the trailer or tied to a trailer alone. He will paw/rear due to being buddy sour. This is a daily work in progress and is mitigated by being hobbled or 3 legged hobbled at the trailer. He prefers a more open trailer as back tack or straight load trailers make him nervous. He will ride away from other horses just fine but his buddy sour issue presents most around the trailer.

Stands for farrier, great to deworm, stands for fly spray and the hose, is easy to vaccinate and stands still to be saddled.
