Kit is 12 yr old Gelding, we have raised out of our favorite mare. Stands 15.1. He’s good for the farrier, good to worm, vaccinate etc. Good to haul and tie. He’s a metabolic horse… so looks at food and stays fat, so he can’t be out on pasture full time.

-He has been my daughter’s Western 4 H horse for 4 years in the SR division. Placing in top 10 in judged events, and top 20 in speed

-she has also won the 4H Eventing cross rail division, tried 4H ranch Versatility

-He’s won Showmanship, ranch riding, barrels, poles, all around Open Horse in Panorama

- He has been queened off, done parades, carried flags in drills

-He’s quiet enough my 82 yr old friend can ride him in sorting, but responsive enough to win money on him

-At 5 we had Danny Meyers put 120 days on him heading, he rates well

-rode him during mounted shooting practice, used him for mounted archery

-Quiet entering in for speed, and typically used to walk kids in that have hot horses

-He excels in Team Sorting, showmanship and jumping.

He needs an intermediate confident rider… he’s really soft horse, sensitive to your seat, and hands, and not very forgiving if you ask wrong or harshly. He is not a little kid’s horse, he likes to be ridden more leg than hands. He is a lower energy horse, does better if you keep him ridden down if you are showing him. However, his snarly isn’t very bad.

This is my favorite horse to ride/be around we own. My son has started Steer wrestling HS rodeo, and he doesn’t fit in that box, and he is too nice to sit and go to waste. I will require people to ride him a few times before I decide to sell him.
