We’re pretty inexperienced with roosters and ended up with a few more cockerels than we planned. Joey is a 3½-month-old Polish cockerel, and our hens seem to have made their choice about which boy they prefer—and unfortunately, it isn’t Joey. 😂

He’s also started getting a little feisty with us in the run, but it honestly seems more like a young cockerel trying to prove himself than true aggression. We hate to give him up, but we think he’d be happier with his own flock rather than competing with our other boys.

Located in Hooper, but we’re happy to meet or travel, within reason, for the right home—and maybe someday whoever takes him will hatch some adorable little Polish babies and let us bring a couple home. when we are ready to expand ❤️
