Selling my 2011 Chevrolet G3500 former UTA shuttle bus. This is a heavy-duty commercial bus powered by the Duramax diesel engine paired with an Allison automatic transmission.
I originally purchased this bus with plans to convert it into a food truck/mobile business, but those plans have changed and I never started the conversion. So rather than let it sit, I'm selling it to someone who can put it to work or turn it into something awesome.
The bus runs and drives awesome. The Duramax runs strong, the Allison transmission shifts well, and it has brand-new batteries. Heat and A/C both work great.
It currently has 5 double passenger seats plus 1 single seat and is equipped with a wheelchair lift, making it usable as a shuttle as-is or giving you a great starting platform for a custom conversion.
Current mileage is approximately 215,774 miles, and the dash shows approximately 1,204 engine hours.
This would make an excellent platform for a:
🚐 RV / camper / skoolie conversion
🌮 Food truck or mobile kitchen
🥤 Mobile beverage or concession truck
🛠️ Mobile workshop or service vehicle
🏪 Mobile retail business
🏕️ Hunting/camping rig
🎉 Party or event shuttle
♿ Wheelchair-accessible transportation vehicle
The interior is in good condition for a former commercial transit vehicle. The exterior has cosmetic wear consistent with its age and previous UTA service, including some peeling/chipped paint on the hood. I'm not trying to hide it—the pictures show the condition.
Known issue: The tires are in good condition overall, but the right inside rear dually has an air leak and needs to be aired up regularly. I'm disclosing that upfront so there are no surprises.
