ZelleAgain, just like last week, the temp is suppose to be at 103+. Another brutal day in the yard. Early bird gets the worms. So unless you want worms, don't show up too early. Cuz we dont got no worms. But definitely have EVERYTHING else. Have to make some screaming deals if we want peoples to take the heat. Will have iced cold drinks at the ready to help keep y'all cool. This SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, at 1713e PRINCETON AVE in SLC, about 1 mile south of the U of U, will be our 4th in the weekly series of sales, kind of a strung out elongated and torturous plan for sure, but i obviously enjoy making life a living nightmare for myself and those who love me. Ill get therapy after September. I promise.
Until then, here we are. Emphasis for this event will be on things of a fabric nature. New things not yet seen such as many smaller pieces and scraps of fabric, mostly vintage, as well as some new things like rugs and curtain material, as well as some larger bolts of fabric, and delicate very old vintage works bordering on antique status, hand made by the 1st generation of my family here in the states, from early 1900's thru the 40's. Table cloths with matching napkins, different sizes of other table coverings, furniture runners, etc. Plus many more clothes, some wool items for the cooler months, as well as many newer vintage items like T shirts, shoes, and casual things.
Plus we still have lots of these regular items, most of which can't all come out for display, but some of each kind will try to be out. CATEGORIES include: kitchen wares, some furniture, artwork incl. original oils, many trinkets and doo dads and knick knacks, new and like new luggage pieces, as well as small crafty and colorful zippered bags, small pieces of costume jewelry, perfect for the kiddies to wear and lose, lamps and lighting fixtures, different types of hardwares, like peg hangers for pegboards, large nuts and bolts, hitches for trailers, large rolls of tape, gardening supplies, things for the dogs, (I mean this event is in their name) and so much more. Cant bring everything out, so ask if there is something you would like to see, and ill bet we probably have it.
ASK US ABOUT THINGS WE CANNOT PUT IN THE YARD, like a vintage 1950's stove top oven, in almost brand new condition, which could be worth as much as over $5ooo. at vintage appliance stores across the USA, or a 100 yr old SEEBURG and SONS player electric upright grand piano, weighs as much as my volkswagon, or a vintage porcelain covered metal sink and counter (1 piece) as well as a massive collection of vintage magazines of over 50 titles, or a collection of vintage newspapers from SLC, NY, and LA, (some would call it a horde) which i strongly disagree, as would Andy Rooney if he were still around today, and is a stack that could be as tall as 40+ feet tall, or equal to a 4 story building.
