5-Year-Old Palomino Gelding – Ride or Pack
5-year-old palomino gelding with a small frame (14.2) but a big motor. He’s the kind of horse that can go all day, whether you’re gathering cows, trail riding, or heading into the mountains on a pack trip.
Rides and packs Great endurance and willing to work Has packed out an elk Sure-footed and enjoys being out on the trail First horse to meet you at the gate and loves attention
He has plenty of energy, and would be best with a job so he’s best suited for an experienced/confident rider.
Health disclosure: He had squamous cell carcinoma removed from around one eye a little over a year ago. Wise move. Squamous cell carcinomas do not metastasize and surgery is usually curative. The surgery was successful, and that veterinarian said it was all removed. We got another veterinarian’s option on it as well that said he would be good and he has had no issues since. We want to be upfront so buyers know This is a nice young gelding with many years ahead of him. Whether you’re looking for a ranch horse, trail partner, or dependable pack horse for hunting season, he’s ready to go.
