GooglePayBeautiful ghost grey paint gelding..He is not papered I was told that he is around 13-14 years old and the vet confirmed that. He's 14.2 hands high. He's had his feet trimmed this spring and is probably due for another trim within the next few months..He was vaccinated, had good teeth floated, and a couple chiropractor appointment about a year ago. We purchased him as a 4H horse for our granddaughter and was supposed to be a beginner horse and I believe he needs more of an intermediate rider..
The pros
He's super sweet, easy to catch, he will follow you around like a puppy dog. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body . He comes when you call the horses.. He loads into a trailer just fine. Strands tied. He's an easy keeper. Seems to always stay nice and fat..
The Cons
I believe that all of these are because he's lazy.
He's a bit on the lazy side and when my granddaughter tries to make him move off he gets snotty with her and I wouldn't even say crow hopes, but he tries to crow hope. He's fine when my husband and I ride him, but she's afraid of him now and we just need to get her another horse. He doesn't like fly spray bottles. I'm sure he's convinced they are demons.. He can be snot with his back feet..We have a couple different farriers. One just ties his back feet up and he stops. The other just has us get the gel that mellows him out.
I think with some consistent riding he would make a great house.. He's the perfect sz I think.. He's absolutely gorgeous.. Rides best in a hackamore..
