We have had a mattress protector (not included) the entire time. There is two small hard to see stains on the lower left corner that happened when we moved the mattress into the home, they arent showing up in the picture but i wanted to be clear about them. Ideal for anyone seeking a supportive cooling gel memory foam sleep surface. Bought 3 years ago. We are getting a sleep number bed, otherwise this has been great.
