This is an All solid, Rosewood back Yamaha acoustic guitar. Ebony fretboard, Engelmann spruce top, Built in Chorus and Reverb.
It is a gorgeous, well playing guitar. To add to that, it has been modified by a luthier for the maxiumum responsiveness and openness of sound.
It also has the excellent Transacoustic reverb and chorus system built in which makes playing the guitar that much more engaging and surreal in person, I would highly encourage trying it if you have not.
A near perfect recording guitar. These Yamaha LL-TA's are known for having a very clear treble, this retains that crystaline attack but added a lot of body to the mids and lows, without sounding wooly or unarticulate at all. It just sounds solid, clear and big.
I love this, but I'm making a large move very soon and cant justify having more than one acoustic guitar with me.
The workmanship, playability, beauty and tone of this guitar are well above it's price.
