VenmoRyobi 40V Electric Lawnmower. Probably 7-8 yrs old.
Free to a good home.
It works... kind of - see below.
I'm not including any batteries so you'll have to figure that part out.
Repair it, part it out, build a go-kart out of it, sky's the limit.
Problems: Recently it will start, then after a few seconds the motor just stops. It's done this in years past and the problem just kind of went away after fiddling with it. But now it does it constantly and won't run for more than 5-10 seconds. I thought it might be the batteries, but I tried multiple different batteries and it didn't help, and I've been using the old batteries on a new mower and the problem isn't there, so I'm assuming there's a short somewhere in the mower causing it to shut itself off constantly. I got annoyed and already bought a new one, so come take this one off my hands.
Again, it doesn't come with any batteries.
