Description:

This server was pulled from a working environment, and then it was stored for a little over 1 year in storage. The server was then pulled from storage, factory reset, drives reformatted and Raid rebuilt.

***There is 1 known issue with the server, there is the following error message during boot up: “The battery hardware is missing or malfunctioning, or the battery is unplugged. If you continue to boot the system, the battery-backed cache will not function. Please contact technical support for assistance.”

The battery is connected but may be fully discharged due to the server being unplugged and in storage for about 1 year. The battery may just need to be charged, or it may need to be replaced. Please see the last picture to see the actual message as it appears on screen.***
