ZelleSelling my Orion SkyQuest XT10i IntelliScope 10-inch Dobsonian reflector telescope.
This is the IntelliScope version of Orion’s popular XT10, so in addition to being used as a normal manual Dobsonian, it includes the Computerized Object Locator. After alignment, the controller guides you toward thousands of objects in the night sky while you manually move the telescope. It’s a simple and reliable “push-to” system with no motorized mount required.
The 10-inch / 254 mm aperture provides excellent light gathering for viewing the Moon, planets, nebulae, galaxies, globular clusters, open clusters, and other deep-sky objects.

Solar observing
The included Orion glass solar filter fits this telescope properly and has been personally used with this XT10 for solar observing, including during a solar eclipse.
Some of the eclipse photos shown in this listing were taken through this telescope and solar-filter combination, including images showing a visible sunspot.
As with any solar equipment, the filter should always be inspected before use and proper solar-observing procedures followed.
Telescope condition
The telescope has been stored indoors and cared for.
The primary mirror has previously been removed and carefully cleaned/serviced and the telescope has been collimated and maintained properly.
The optical tube separates easily from the Dobsonian base for transportation.
